My Christmas story Drukuj
czwartek, 23 styczeń 2014
Zima to wyjątkowa pora roku. To czas szczególnie bliski tym, którzy jej magię i czar potrafią przelać na kartki papieru. Tę szczególną umiejętność malowania zimowego obrazu słowem posiada uczennica III klasy LO w Pasłęku Kaja Rakowska - zwyciężczyni konkursu literackiego „My Christmas story”. Kaja napisała wzruszającą opowieść świąteczną o dziewczynce o imieniu Tiny, której Św. Mikołaj podarował niezwykły prezent i tym samym przyniósł jej ubogiej rodzinie wiarę w lepsze jutro. Gratulujemy Kai tak pięknie napisanej pracy i życzymy wielu następnych!

„Tiny” by Kaja Rakowska, IIIb LO Tiny was always filled with love and joy. She enjoyed singing when helping her mother in the family house. Tiny filled the house with her joy. This was a hard time for the whole family in a small French village by the sea. Tiny's father, a fisherman, was very ill and couldn't fish in the sea and her mother tried to work hard to feed the family during the long, cold winter. As time passed, a small financial family reserve was exhausted. Although it wasn't easy Tiny's laughter still rang throughout the house and when the winter holidays came she called: - Oh, how I love Christmas! - Dear Tiny – dad said to her sadly – you have to know that this year we are so poor that we can't buy even a modest gift for you. Despite it all, Tiny was deeply convinced that on Christmas Day something wonderful always happens to all children. The night before Christmas, Tiny took her mother's and father's hands. - Let's go outside and let us share the joy of Christmas! – she hailed. When they returned to the house, Tiny kissed their parents goodnight saying: - Now I will leave my shoe for a star gift! And so she did. As always, full of faith, Tiny woke up in the morning and slowly walked to the fireplace to see if there was a gift. -Daddy, Mummy! Come quickly! - called loudly – Look what Santa Claus has brought me! In her shoe lay a newly hatched bird, trembling. - It probably fell out of the nest down the chimney right into your shoe! – said the father. Tiny didn't listen to him. The bird was a gift for her from Baby Jesus. She was sure of it. Her joy was so great when she stroked, warmed and fed the bird. Also her father and mother shared her enthusiasm and revived feeling happy. And so Christmas turned out to be rich and full of experience, the spirit of Christmas burned forever in Tiny's heart.
